You can’t walk a chia pet

Ever since I first saw Men In Black 2 I have wanted a Pug. They look cute and playful, plus, if the movies are to be believed, they can also talk. How useful could would that be? I could run a call centre with a team of talking Pugs, that'd be awesome... Anyway.... I digress....

When it comes to pets, chia pets would have to rate right up there along with pet rocks, and perhaps sea monkeys, as the most useless of all pets. Put it this way, it's not like you can take a chia pet for a walk around the block is it?

What the chia pets do have going for them is groovy promotional campaigns. Check out the original chia pet commercial for example. I think you'd agree, it was well before its time! Truly revolutionary!
