Wine of the Month club

When I first read the title "wine of the month club" my first instinct was that it sounded very much like Oprah's bookclub but for alcoholics. What makes the gold medal wine club such a good idea is that it focuses on those wines that may not sell in super high quantities, but is award winning stuff none the less. I guess you could say the focus is on quality rather than quantity, which no doubt is perfect for the wine snob with uber sensative taste buds.

There are no sign up fees with the Wine of the Month club which is a good thing. There are three tiers within the club. These are Gold, Platinum and Diamond. Prices start at $32 for the Gold tier (includes 2 bottles) and goes up to $179 for the upper level Diamond membership.

With Christmas coming up, it's good to know they also have a gift card option, which could save a lot of people a lot of head scratching!
