Things I have learned over the past week

There have been a few things I've noticed lately. Some thing have sparked my curiosity, others have just made me scratch my head in bemusement.

1. What is the world wide webs fascination with home schooling? Do a google search for teaching (or any related term) and your bound to turn up a variety of results, many of which relate to home schooling. Most of the sites seem to be from the USA. Is there a big demand for home schooling there?

2. Mentioning the word Agloco in a blog post is the guaranteed way to get you some comment spam!

3. I read this sobering post on war veterans.

4. I found that this domain name had been registered previously in 2003, 2004 and 2005, and for some reason had been banned by Google. Basically causing this blog to be invisible to a majority of the world! So if you're reading this, your one of the minority, and should therefore consider yourself special!

5. The internet is a great way to waste time that you really can't afford to waste... with that in mind, I better get back to what I really should be doing!

6. I don't own any cufflinks but I'm sure they'd make a good groomsmen gift.
