The iPhone transition

As my mobile phone inches closer and closer to its inevitable retirement, I'm finding myself strongly considering picking up an iPhone. It's really a natural fit for me, as the two things I rarely leave the house without are my mobile phone and my iPod mini (I'm old school!). Putting the two into the one unit makes perfect sense. I'm not sure I'd use any of it's email or web functionality, but I'd get more use out of it that I expect I would out of standard PDAs.

Have you made the iPhone transition? If so, what do you think? Does it live up to the hype?
