Site review of Wooden-Beds.com

Wooden-Beds.com sell a wide range of, you guessed it, Wooden Beds. The layout of the site is simple and the color palette used is warm. The site contains a huge range of wooden beds, including an array of Wooden Sleigh Beds.

As far as websites go, Wooden-Beds.com have made a good start, however there are a couple of things that they could fix up in order to make their site even better.

Firstly, the thumbnail images seemed to take quite a while to load, longer than standard thumbnails images. Perhaps they could consider reducing the image file size or use pre-loaders to make sure that the images load faster.

Secondly, when you visit there homepage you could be forgiven for thinking that once you have scrolled down to the copyright information, and other elements you’d expect to find in a footer that you reached the end. This is not the case. If you keep scrolling down the page, past what seems to be the page footer, you find further information under sub-headings such as “Wooden Beds / Pine Beds Specialists” and “Wooden beds from wooden-beds.com. Why?”. I’m not sure what the logic is behind adding more information below what appears to be the footer, but if it were my site I would probably be taking a look at that to see if I could locate it elsewhere.

All in all, Wooden-Beds.com have made a good start, and with a few minor alterations, should have a very nice looking website at their disposal.
