Singleton’s and life insurance
I have to say that as a singleton, I can't see why a single person without kids would want to take out life insurance? It's understandable if you have a partner, or kids, that need to be looked after if you depart a little earlier than you'd like, but if you're not really leaving anyone behind in that sense, what is the point? How many single people do you know that have taken out a specific life insurance policy?
Here's another way to look at it. If you were an insurance company, and a single person was chasing life insurance quotes, would you regard them with suspicion? In the TV world, it's common for someone to fake their own death in order to score a massive life insurance payout. I wonder how often that occurs in real life?
