Random Orlando

Anyone that can afford to buy a brand new Lamborghini Gallardo could surely afford a couple of weeks Orlando vacation rental don't you think? Furthermore, anyone that can afford both a Lamborghini Gallardo and a couple of weeks holiday in Orlando, could surely afford to buy me an Xbox 360. Whatever!

Anyway, here are some interesting things about Orlando (or the surrounding area) courtesy of Wikipedia and other 'reliable sources':

  • Crime in Orlando has been up 329% since 2006. Based on the Morgan Quitno Press 2006 national crime rankings, Orlando ranked #1 in Florida and #25 in the United states for overall standings;
  • Orlando is home to one of the nation's largest and most rapidly growing Puerto Rican communities;
  • Gatorade was named for the University of Florida Gators where it was first developed.
  • A crypt in Key West is inscribed "I told you I was sick."
