The “I love you” pug

My love for pugs is really no secret. They are the most "awesomest" dogs in existence. They are small, so you don't have to go totally overboard with the dog supplies, cool looking, and according to the Men In Black movie have a strong understanding of the english language.

I watched this clip and was astounded at the selfishness of the escapee. I was expecting him to turn back and break his buddies free.

Possible side effects

I love a good consumer price watch story. It's the stuff current affairs programs cut their teeth on. When I first saw this one though, I thought it was a typo. I'd never heard of the alli weight loss pill before. Well Alli isn't a typo, it's a non-prescription, FDA approved diet pill that is very similar to orlistat, and works to reduce the body’s amount of fat absorption.

What worries me? The side effects. You can read the full list from the Consumer Proce Watch site, but two of the possible side effects included oily anal discharge and hard-to-control bowel movements. Are those side effects things you are willing to deal with in order to look slim for summer?

Perverse Pleasures

What is it about humans that causes us to get perverse pleasure from watching other peoples misfortune? Here's an example, head on over to YouTube and search for "Skateboard crash". At the time of writing this, that search yielded 8,260 results. They are all fairly popular clips too I might add, and every single one of them should seek sponsorship from NC health insurance. Whammy! Betcha didn't see that coming?
