Three bizarre acne treatments

When it comes to acme treatments, there are a lot of weird little theories around about what works, and what doesn't.

Here are three bizarre treatments I've discovered.

1. Hypnosis - buy a tape, and listen to it at night, your acne will miraculously disappear. Orly?
2. Urine - topical application of urine can cure acne. Orly?
3. Toothpaste - rubbing toothpaste on the affected area can cure acne. Orly?

Fat burning

Question: What is the number one fat burner available? Lighter fluid and matches. Besides that? Well I'm guessing a decent diet and some solid exercise would be a good place to start. I'm not sure that there's a quick fix, beside liposuction.

Bargain basement trauma

In the olden days the department store Myer used to have a beast called "The Bargain Basement". As a kid, going into Myer with the folks, the trip down to the Bargain Basement was a nightmare, that continues to haunt my dreams until this very day. The Bargain Basement used to be jam packed with cut priced bedding and dirt cheap lingerie. Not the stuff a young kid is even remotely interested in. It was easy to get lost down there too, particularly when that red light started spinning and the people would swarm over the latest bargain.

Moral of the story. Parents - shop online. Don't put your kids through the trauma. That's all.

Faucet fanciers anonymous

You would be forgiven for thinking that the world of faucets, which is basically a fancy way of describing taps, is a boring one. Heck, it was a mistake I'd made myself, so you are forgiven.

To the uninitiated the faucet may seem like a simple tool through which water is delivered, however to the faucet fancier they are art.

They can range from the common sense defying.

To the entertaining.

Right through to the 'just plain lewd'.

I love checking out funny t shirts. The best ones are those that are funny and original. This combination is becoming. My favourite designs almost always feature things that seem average, or 'normal', upon a single glance, but turn out to be something much more after further examination.

A wise man once said, "All wisdom is found on t-shirts". Think about that.
