Practicality versus class

To me, a watch is something that needs to be practical. Something you can wear each day, that won't fail you... some that will keep time! Perhaps it's just me, but personally I wouldn't feel comfortable strapping on one of the $1,000 plus Gucci watches a doing a days work. I'd be too worried I'd scratch it or something. I suppose though, it is all relative. If I were earning $1,000,000 a year then perhaps $1,000 for a watch wouldn't be all that bad. What about you? In my time, I've received my fair share of promo products, all kinds of wacky gear plastered with a companies logo or sales slogan. In the olden days, it used to be that the only promo product you'd get was a ball point pen, a mouse pad or a coffee mug. Today though, the range of product has expanded significantly. Whereas once the ball point pen was the bread and butter of promo companies, today it's the USB flash drive.

To "rubber stamp" something is to endorse, vote for, or approve without question or deliberation. The question I have then is, who was the person that rubber stamped these little nuggets, without question or deliberation?

Surely this sign raises more questions than it provides answers? Looking as this one, do you think a sign is really going to solve the problem?

It is what it is

You may remember, if you visited here six months ago or more, that I used this blog in order to fund the purchase of my xbox 360. That experiment proved quite successful, and I'm an Xbox 360 owner. Recently though I've started playing World of Warcraft, and I've found myself spending less time on the Xbox, and less time browsing the web. Is this a good or bad thing? I don't know. I guess it just is. Carry on.
