Impromptu market research

It's probably quite obvious to all who stumble across this blog that it has drifted far off its intended course. Initially it was set up for a friend to share ideas about teaching. It got handed back to me once the original owner had lost the drive to continue on with it. Since then it's evolved into a site in which I post random grumbling, and take paid post opportunities. The Google monster gave this blog the smack down last time there was a PR update, with this site dropping from a PR4 to PR0.

To be honest I haven't check the Google Analytics for this site for quite some time, so I thought it was about time to do some impromptu market research.

Here's an overview of unique visitors for the past 3 months:

November 2007: 1,794

December 2007: 197

January 2008: 172

Perhaps the most interesting statistic is that in January, someone arrived here as a result of searching for "bert ernie brokeback mountain". Wow, who would have thought there was demand for that. I hope they found the Bert and Ernie post.
