Honda corner the UGLY market
Here's one from the "what in the world were they thinking" file. This is the time of the year when a lot of motor shows take place. Generally, motor shows are a way for car companies to show of their latest product range, but many also go for the head turning powers of the 'concept car' display. A concept car is a car that a company might be toying with in order to gauge public interest (to see if actual production would be feasible from a demand point of view), as well as an avenue for car designers to go crazy! There also seems to be a trend these days for car companies to automatically assume that an environmentally friendly car also needs to look plain ugly!
This example of Honda is a prime example of when a concept car goes horribly wrong. Lets hope that this design wasn't cooked up in drug rehabilitation!
