The "global financial crisis" and media panic all point toward some crazy financial times. Amid all the media hype I can't figure out whether having a mortgage is going a bad thing or not. I guess the bottom line is, financial puns aside, that if you're in the market for a house you should most definitely do you research and get a variety of mortgage quotes. If you are going to be in debt, it's going to be in your interest, to pay the lowest interest possible.
