Faucet fun

There are niche stores for practically everything these days, covering off everything, including the kitchen sink... and faucets. That's right, faucets. A faucet is just a fancy word for tap. A tap being a valve for controlling the release of a liquid (eg. water) or gas.
Taps seem to go by all sorts or fancy names, take the Hansgrohe faucet for example.
