Comparing on-line degrees with On-line Degrees Today.com

Sponsored Post:

A quick Google search will tell you that there are countless options available for people wishing to complete a degree on-line. As such, it could be quite difficult to separate the wheat from the chaff. On-line Degrees Today.com was launched in 2003 to provide visitors with an easy way to research and compare various on-line educational opportunities. They have since expanded their scope to include on campus programs as well.

On-line Degrees Today.com acts as a portal, allowing potential students to not only research, but also request information from the some of the best on-line education institutions found anywhere on-line. Think of it as a "one stop shop" for researching On-line Colleges.

As a web site, On-line Degrees Today.com most definitely provides a time saving service. Take the On-line Degrees in Educational Leadership as an example. There are 14 different degrees in Educational Leadership offered by nine of the institutions listed on On-line Degrees Today.com. If you wanted to compare those degrees without the help of On-line Degrees Today.com your would need to visit the website of each individual institution and then locate the information on the relevant degrees from there. Clearly that could become a very time consuming task, not to mention a confusing one! Wouldn't you rather visit one website and let it do all the leg work for you?

In general the site is easy to navigate, and it didn't take me long to find the information I was interested in. My one minor gripe with the site was the 'Learn More" buttons under the degree overviews. Clicking these buttons appeared to re-direct the user to a variety of different "landing pages". These pages did not always reflect the look and feel of the site as a whole. As a result, this could potentially be confusing for some users.

I've written about on-line education on this blog previously, and my opinions on the subject have not changed. On-line education is a great option for those people that are disciplined, self motivated and techno savvy. It is a mode of learning best suited to theoretical subjects, where 'hands on' learning is not required. They are all key points to remember when weighing up the pro's and con's of an on-line (or distance education) degree in comparison to an on-campus degree.

To summarize then, On-line Degrees Today.com is an excellent comparison tool for prospective students. If you're considering an on-line degree of any sort, you should most definitely pay it a visit!

I'm happy to acknowledge that this has been my very first paid 'ReviewMe' review and would like to thank On-line Degrees Today.com for the opportunity.
