Branson, Missouri

Did you know that Branson, Missouri is billed as the "Live Music Capital of the World"? Nope? Neither did I. When I think of music I think Seattle, but that probably says more about what was happening in music when my voice was breaking.

Branson Missouri's other claim to fame is that it is home to "The Baldknobbers". Besides the crackerjack name, the Baldknobbers put on a variety show featuring country, gospel, and patriotic music complimented with "hilarious" country comedy. Apparently it's fun for the whole family, however with a name like Baldknobbers it really makes you wonder...

Having a browse through the shows that are held in Branson, it seems they favour two main types of music. Country and Western. Another useful tidbit of information is that Branson is close to Coney Island.
