A change in ‘management’ and a change in direction

If you've been here more than once, you'll have probably noticed that this blog has been a little light on in terms of content lately. Here's some background.

I originally set this site up for a friend who was interested in dipping her toe into the blog pond. She wanted to create a site for teachers as well as learn a bit about web sites along the way. Unfortunately, whilst she had big plans for the site, she just doesn't have to time to maintain or update it. Basically, she's handed the whole thing over to me. Not a big deal seeing as though I was hosting it already anyway, but does leave me with a couple of issues.

1) I'm most definitely not a school teacher! I know next to nothing about what it takes to be a school teacher. Therefore, it's doubtful I'm going to be able to provide much in the way of useable teaching content.

2) Given that this blog has had a teaching focus, what does that mean for the future?

At present, I'm thinking that I will take this site in a different direction. I'd like to keep the current education related content online, at least for the time being. I guess I need time to think of a decent business opportunity...
