Who is Jane Iredale?

Who is Jane Iredale? Well, Wikipedia let me down this time, so I had to dig a little deeper. Jane Iredale is the president and founder of Iredale Mineral Cosmetics.

She was the first to introduce a full line of makeup based on minerals, as well as the first to harness the potential of offering physicians a makeup that was good for the skin.

Prior to forming her company in 1994, she worked in film, theatre and television. She's worked with names such as Sarah Jessica Parker, Cybill Sheperd, Susan Sarandon as well as Steven Spielberg on The Color Purple.

So there's a quick snap shot of the history of Jane Iredale.
